Contract Description:
This contract is for the design of the Wallowa River-Green Valley Ranch Diversion Project. Currently the diversion structure can be a partial barrier and may become a full barrier as a result of natural channel processes. Currently all life stages of Snake River Spring Chinook, Snake River Summer Steelhead, and Bull Trout occupy this area. All of which are ESA listed species. In the future, Sockeye may be reintroduced. This technical assistance contract will be used to hire an engineering firm to produce designs, specifications, permitting documentation, and construction bidding documentation for the replacement of the existing structure. With this task complete, the sponsor will seek implementation funding with plans to hire a contractor for implementation in 2022.
